Photopolymer...The Choice is Clear!

Stampin Up! has introduced another set their photopolymer stamps.  This set has enough Christmas stamps that you will not need any others!

Photopolymer stamps are extra clingy so you don't have to worry about them sticking to your acrylic block!  They are also non-yellowing which means they will look as nice after many uses as they did when you first got them.

Just look at the great snowflake patterned stamps!  And the greetings you can create are endless:)

I just love combination of fonts used for the stamps too.

Creating a handmade Christmas/Holiday card means so much more than sending the boxed cards yu can pick up at your local department store.  Why not give it a try?  Orders yours today by clicking the following link:  ShopwithPat

Shadow Stamping

Simple yet effective!

Shadow stamping gives your images that  3-D appearance.

For the card shown below I used the Blooming with Kindness stamp set, Stazon Black Ink, Illumniate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad and the Stamp-a-ma-jig.

I cut the card from Basic Black cardstock 8.5" x 5.5" and folded it in half.
Then I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4" x 5.25"

After inking the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder with Basic Black ink I ran it through my Big Shot.

Taking another piece of Whisper White card stock, the Black Stazon Ink and the flower stamp
from the Blooming with Kindness set I stamped a black flower.
Stamp another black flower with the Basic Black ink pad (DO NOT USE STAZON FOR THIS STEP as it will permanently mark the Imaging Sheet that comes with your Stamp-a-ma-jig).

Clean the black ink off your stamp and tap it into the Illumniate Glimmer Watermark Stampin' Pad.

Position the Imaging Sheet with the black flower directly over your stamped image for your card.
Shift the Imaging sheet slight up and to the right.  Then place the Stamp-a-ma-jig tool over the top left corner of your Imaging Sheet.  Remove the Imaging Sheet and place your stamp into the corner of the Stamp- a-ma-jig tool and press down.  By using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to slightly shift the spot you will stamp you've created a shadow effect with the Glimmer Watermark Ink!

Punch the flower out by running it along with a proportionate non-scalloped cirle from the Circles Collection  Framelits.  Then run a piece of Basic Black through the Big Shot along with the coordinating sized scalloped circle.

Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock 3.75" x 1.5"
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3.75" x 1.25"...stamp this piece with any sentiment you choose!
Assembly your layers!

It's Been a Busy Day!

What a rainy day we had today!
It gave me a perfect chance to sit down and get busy with my card making.

Below are some of the cards I made.
Don't let the date stamp at the bottom of the Thanksgiving card fool you.
I couldn't figure out how to set the date on my camera:(

Each of these cards was made using Stampin' Up!'s Big Shot.

The Big Shot is my most used Stampin' Up! tool...I just love it.

The Big Shot along with the Apothecary Accents framelits were used to cut out the decorative oval shape on the Halloween card and on the Birthday card.  It was also used to cut the oval and the scalloped oval for the pumpkin on the Thanksgiving Blessings card.

Have you ever wanted to be able to have and use all the awesome Stampin' Up!
products you see used on so many blogs?  You should seriously consider joining Stampin' Up!

Here is your chance...Join for only $25.
